Bible Totes/Bible Cover Elegant handmade embroidered bible totes/bible covers that protect your bible and make it easier to carry. All of our bible totes are Handcrafted with Pride in the USA.
We used double faced 100% quilted cotton made in America for our tote and corrdinating strap. Each tote has been interfaced and is lined with a coordinating color of broadcloth. Our tote is as pretty on the inside as it is on the oustide. No fraying or expose seams.
The pocket was created by using a single layer of linen to either applique or embroider our design on. The design layer was then interfaced and a second layer of matching linen was used to line the back. This "layering of fabrics" gives your pocket extra durability and will hold wallets, cellphones, church bulletins, pens, etc.
The tab closure has two (2) layers of double quilted fabric with either decorative embroidery or finished edge. Tab has hook and loop tape for easy closure.
Straps have an overall length of 30" with a 15" drop front and back and have been double stitched for extra strength. Your tote can be worn on the shoulder to free up your hands or carried. The choice is yours.
(We tested the tote using a full package of 8 l/2 x 11" paper and found it had room on one side and at the top of approcimately 1" each. We also placed a large print bible measuring 8 5/8" x 11" in our tote and had room to spare.)
