Apples and Blooms The beautiful apples and blooms used in this hanging dish towe/towel topper reminded me of the beautiful apple orchards we saw in Pennsylvania and New York a few years ago. The rich reds in the apples, bright green leaves and white blossoms with just a tint of pink were stitched on cream linen. The design was finished using 2 red waffle towels.

Using white linen to create the pocket, we appliqued the cross and embroidered the design using black embroidery thread. Black double faced quilted fabric was used for the basic tote and straps. Tote is fully lined and interfaced for extra durability.
